DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Customs and Excise Manager to oversee critical operations within our bonded warehousing division. ✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

\n\nLead and manage a small, high-performing team, fostering collaboration and development.\nWork closely with our client's customer service department to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.\nPartner with the Operations Management team to ensure systems are correctly used to maintain a strict and accurate stock profile.\nTake full responsibility for the control of all duty payments and maintain regular liaison with HMRC / Customs and Excise.\nProduce accurate and timely reports on inventory variances, analyse trends, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure inventory control meets and exceeds KPI targets.\n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nStrong working knowledge of UK HMRC / Customs and Excise regulations and best practices.\nProven experience managing or working with alcohol-related logistics.\nDemonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.\nSolid background in bonded warehousing operations.\nExperience in project management is highly desirable.\nA Diploma or Certificate in Logistics / Freight Forwarding is preferred, but not essential if you bring relevant experience.\n\n
