Position: Customs Director

Location: DHL Suvarnabhumi Multi-Modal Distribution Center, DHL Lad Krabang Office

 

Key Responsibilities: -

Provides Customs Product input to key country business decisions and programsDevelops overall growth strategy and steers businessManages and drives Customs P&LEstablishes KPIs to measure the effectiveness of customs operations and drive continuous improvement.Liaises with Sales on Sales activities and provides pricing and margin guidance, supports on bids, RFQs and customer presentationsSets compliance standards for customs operations and monitors adherence to these standards.Supports in the implementation of global and regional brokerage solutionsCollaborates with third-party customs brokers on capacity buying, pricing, SLAs, and contracting; supervises and monitors the quality and compliance of broker services.Analyzes market trends and regulatory changes to ensure that customs strategies remain competitive and compliant with evolving laws.Implements risk management strategies to mitigate potential customs-related compliance issues and enhance operational resilience 

Qualification: -

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.At least 10 years of Logistics Industry experience with a proven track record in people management roleStrong knowledge of Customs regulations, processes, and operational compliance.Customs brokerage license (if applicable)Extensive knowledge of customs and the regulatory compliance environmentRelevant experience in Sales and business developmentProficient decision-making skillsHigh degree of written, verbal and organizational skillsDiligent attention to details and ability to work under pressure
