WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

\n\nAnalyze import and export documentation to determine the appropriate tariff classification for goods, and correctly calculate duty, GST, and indirect taxes.\nResearch and interpret customs regulations, tariff schedules, and trade agreements to ensure compliance with local trade regulations\nCommunicate with external stakeholders, including customs authorities and clients, to resolve clearance-related issues and provide guidance on customs requirements.\nMaintain records of classification decisions and provide support during audits and compliance reviews.\nEnsure customer databases are kept up to date with accurate information on clearance instructions and supplier product information\nThis is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am - 6:00pm\n\n

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?

\n\nExperience in customs clearance and International freight environments - Essential\nCurrently studying or completed Diploma of Customs Broking - Essential\nProblem Solving & Decision making skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication\nGood reporting, data analysis & Microsoft Office skills\nGreat attention to detail\n
