Customer Support/Order Entry Specialist
Job Description The Order Fulfillment Associate, also known as the Customer Support Specialist I, is responsible for processing orders using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role involves managing orders through the fulfillment process using a ticketing system and providing customers with the highest level of service possible. Responsibilities + Process purchase orders in the ERP system with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. + Review purchase orders against quotes and resolve any customer purchase order issues. + Use the company CRM system to manage work queues and verify customer product certifications. + Collaborate with the sales team to obtain approval on drop-ship orders and verify discounts on purchase orders. + Respond to customer inquiries, providing speedy and thorough resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction. + Handle day-to-day correspondence via email and phone, addressing inquiries regarding lead times, order status, and back-ordered materials. + Work with customers to resolve pricing issues as they occur. + Collaborate with the sales operations team to prioritize orders when inventory is limited. + Build rapport with new and repeat customers through exceptional customer service. + Review and execute change orders and correction requests. Essential Skills + Customer service experience. + Proficiency in data entry. + Experience with ERP and CRM systems. + Strong communication skills. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 months of relevant experience. + Ability to collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team. + Capability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to a continuous improvement philosophy. Work Environment This role is based in a relaxed office environment, separate from a call center setting, within the same building as the manufacturing and supply chain teams. The office hosts a team of 15 people. Attendance and attention to detail are crucial, with opportunities for growth and potential pay increases after permanent hire. The workday is typical with some flexibility. There is no travel expected for this position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
