What You’ll Do
As the Customer Support Associate, you will create value for our customers as single point of customer interface. You will translate demand into purchase requirements and manage through to invoice. You will communicate issues pertaining to their orders, resolve problems, understand wants vs. needs, and manage and improve customer relationship. Other duties will include:
Manage and develops strong relationships with designated Customer Accounts (Joint Ventures & Wholesale Customers)Translate customer demand requirements into purchase requirementsCreate and process SAP sales order cycle through customer invoiceManage service disruptions, late deliveries, and quality issues with the customer by managing customer expectations and ensuring correct information flow is occurring internally and externallyPrioritize customer requirements and review alternative inventory options by working with cross functional teams across Dyno NobelManage customer expectations and provide timely updates to customersMaintain open/past due order reporting and ensure teams are managing administrative elements of orderManage SAP sales order cycle (goods issues/receipts specific to each North American site); timely reconciliation of inventory at each site is required following the completion of daily sales activitiesWork with AP/AR to resolve customer issues with payments acting as signal customer focal Verification of customer pricing prior to creating the invoice for the customerComplete credits, debits, and price variances (following the correct approvals procedures)
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years customer service experienceExperience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business systemAbility to develop strong relationships with customers and joint venturesMust be able to pass an ATF Background checkComputer literacy in Microsoft products such as; Word, Excel, etc.Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
