Job Description:
The Customer Supply Chain Manager has a critical leadership role in building and delivering the customer supply chain strategy and driving on-shelf in-stock excellence for Mars products. The Customer Supply Chain Manager is functionally responsible for Order Management, Customer Care and Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR).
This role is focused on developing a strategic and collaborative relationship with our customers, while also playing a vital internal role in driving growth and optimizing our Cost to Serve through close collaboration with Sales, Demand, Planning and Logistics.
What are we looking for?University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related studies.5+ years of experience in Supply Chain - preferably Operations, CPFR, Demand, Planning and/or Logistics.Direct Line Manager experience and/or experience with developing teams, coaching Associates and fostering a high-performance culture.Experience partnering across organizations and functional areas to drive process and cost improvement initiatives, forming recommendations based on holistic SC knowledge in service of the business strategy. A strong track record of successfully translating strategies into action, delivering results and engaging a wide range of Associates behind a common goal/vision; ability to simplify complex concepts and strategies for others with pragmatic solutions encompassing multiple stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and ‘can-do’ attitude with influencing & problem-solving capabilities; able to stand alone and challenge the status quo.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders, effectively communicate and manage change.Customer-facing experience is an asset. CPG and/or Retail experience is an asset.Ability to travel locally to customer sites (10%) as required.What will be your key responsibilities?Lead a team of Customer Care and CPFR Analysts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while driving associate engagement, performance, and development.Internally represent the voice of the customer and act as the key coordinator between Sales, Demand, Supply and Logistics to deliver the right product, at the right time, in the right condition to consistently meet our customers’ expectations.Proactively develop relationships with customers that will enable efficient issue resolution and allow your team to best anticipate and influence the customers’ needs and behaviors.Partners with Sales teams to support strategic planning – developing, defining, and executing supply chain solutions that enable quantifiable cost savings and/or growth opportunities.Identify and drive efficiencies in the Cost to Serve through optimization of ordering patterns, MOQs, customer specific requirements and freight programs.Drive improvements in key customer-specific KPIs (fill rate, on-time, SFA, DOS, in-stock/OSA, fines and fees).Deliver enhanced analytics using customer data to support decision making within the S&OP+ Process.What can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
