Description A technology company based in Santa Monica is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to assist with a 3-4 month project. This is a fully remote role where you’ll provide phone and email support to current customers. Key responsibilities include working within Salesforce and an internal database to schedule meetings with active customers and educate them about product updates. The ideal candidate will have previous phone-based customer service experience, with a strong ability to de-escalate situations. Proficiency in Salesforce is required, and candidates must have reliable computer hardware and internet access at home. This position offers weekday hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility. The pay rate is up to $22 per hour. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or success roles, preferably within financial services. • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage customer data and interactions. • Familiarity with software platforms such as ADP, Avaya CMS, and Epic Software. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer engagement. • Ability to handle inbound calls and resolve queries with a customer-first approach. • Knowledge of billing and benefit functions, with attention to detail. • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical and service-related issues. • Capability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
