Customer Service-Worksite Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service-Worksite Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the insurance industry. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive onsite training for 7-8 weeks before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: • Assist policyholders by providing detailed information on insurance products and policy statuses. • Respond to customer inquiries regarding claims, service requests, and self-service troubleshooting. • Handle claim intake processes and ensure timely resolution of customer issues. • Collaborate with the sales team by transferring leads to drive revenue growth. • Meet or exceed departmental standards for quality, average handle time, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). • Participate in training programs and mentor representatives who are newer to the role to enhance team capabilities. • Support organizational objectives by implementing process improvements and offering constructive feedback to leadership. • Exhibit professionalism and empathy while resolving customer issues and building personal connections. • Adhere to varying shifts within the designated timeframe based on business needs. • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the department's goals. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry. • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. • Proficiency in handling claim administration and troubleshooting self-service issues. • Familiarity with KPIs and other performance metrics. • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with an organized and logical approach. • Capacity to work in a hybrid schedule following onsite training. • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
