Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for attracting potential customers by addressing product and service inquiries and suggesting information about other offerings. This role involves processing orders, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs to ensure satisfaction. The specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager, aiming to uphold excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Drive positive customer experiences by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions.Process transactions such as sales orders, returns, and exchanges.Generate future opportunities by identifying deeper customer needs to build lasting relationships.Manage and enter all incoming orders into the BPCS system, ensuring accuracy in lead-time, quantities, package codes, and pricing.Verify daily the accuracy of invoices sent electronically, via fax, or by mail.Process returns, credits, and rebills for an assigned territory.Handle requests for nutritional information, Certificates of Analysis, Kosher letters, and code date information.Process documentation for government orders, ensuring accuracy and forwarding to the government for payment.Essential Skills
3-5 years of customer service experience, adept at handling inquiries.Comfortable communicating with customers via email and phone.Experience in account management or customer relationship management.Proficient in order processing and order entry.Strong email communication skills, capable of handling high email volume.Proficient in internal systems/ERP.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.Preferred 2-year degree or higher, or equivalent experience.Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.Proficient written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented and precise task management.Energetic with a team-oriented personality.Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.Keyboarding proficiency of at least 60 wpm.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work within a small team of three, with immediate support needed due to one member going on PTO for two weeks. The environment requires agility in covering multiple desks and collaboration with colleagues.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
