Customer Service/sales Rep
Job Title: Customer Service Administrative AssistantJob Description The candidate will play a pivotal role in the sales process by assisting customers from initial online inquiries or phone calls through to the point of sale, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience. Responsibilities + Respond to customer inquiries regarding new and pre-owned vehicle inventory via telephone and internet daily. + Answer customer responses and reply to customer emails promptly. + Respond to incoming sales calls and customer inquiries as received. + Determine vehicle needs by asking questions and listening to customer requirements. + Recommend alternate vehicle choices when necessary. + Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories, and recommend them to customers. + Make follow-up calls to customers daily according to a predetermined work plan. + Maintain a follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business, contributing to customer satisfaction. + Implement and maintain a prospect development system consistently. + Set appointments with prospects to visit the showroom or meet at a place of their choice. + Meet with prospects during appointment times, review vehicle choices and features, and work through all steps to finalize purchase and paperwork with customers and dealership staff. + Establish, implement, and maintain personal income goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity. + Move vehicles from lot to front of store occasionally for customer test drives and accompany customers on test drives. Essential Skills + 2+ years of face-to-face customer service experience, preferably within the retail or restaurant industry. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Professional demeanor and willingness to communicate with customers via email, telephone, and in-person. + Comfortable with data entry tasks for recording customer information into the customer service database. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email. + Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies. + Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns. Work Environment The candidate will work at a dealership in South Philadelphia, within their own cubicle equipped with a phone and computer setup. The work environment includes collaborating with a team of approximately five sales representatives and sales managers. The dress code is business casual. The work schedule is Monday (9-7pm), Tuesday (9-3pm), Wednesday (9-7pm), Thursday (9-3pm), Saturday (9-5pm), with Fridays and Sundays off. One day off during the week can be arranged with the manager. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
