Description We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to join our team on a contract basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide essential support at a well-organized conference, ensuring attendees have a seamless and positive experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who excel in customer service and thrive in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities: • Welcome and assist conference attendees with courtesy and professionalism • Provide guidance on session locations, schedules, and event details to attendees • Distribute badges, lanyards, and conference materials to participants • Manage the registration tables and ensure smooth operations throughout the event • Support the onsite conference team with various logistical tasks • Assist attendees with registration processes using laptops and other tools • Lift and move boxes and supplies weighing between 25-40 pounds as needed • Ensure timely and efficient execution of all assigned responsibilities • Unpack materials and organize conference items each morning • Maintain a focused demeanor while standing and moving around for extended periods Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in customer service or a related role • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to maintain focus and courteous behavior in high-pressure situations • Experience in conference or event support is preferred • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow precise instructions • Punctuality and dependability are essential for this role • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds • Business-appropriate attire required throughout the event TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
