**Our client, a Big 5 bank, is currently seeking a customer service representative to join their team in downtown Toronto! This role is best suited for someone with customer service and banking experience OR someone who possesses their CSC OR IFIC designations.** Story Behind the Need Business group: The candidate will be working within the bank's contact center and will help support customers with regards to any questions they may have concerning their account and trade functions. This candidate will be working with investment products and learn the fundamentals of working within wealth management. Typical Day in the Role: • Resolving client telephone and email inquiries timely and effectively • Using discretion and problem-solving skills to satisfy the requirements of the customer’s request • Contributing to ideal center functionality by adhering to goals, policies, and procedures • Utilizing key mind for sales to recognize and initiate opportunities for cross-selling and referrals • Facilitating a culture of communication, participation, and collaboration by being an actively positive member of your team Must Have Skills: - Strong English Written and Oral communication - previous customer service experience handled over email (clear and concise) - 2-4 years of financial industry experience (account status, transfers, RRSPs, -- general understanding of investment options) - 2-4 years' Experience in a Customer Service capacity particularly in a Banking Contact Center environment OPEN TO: -new graduate within finance, business, commerce, or economics - branch / teller experience NICE TO HAVE: CSC Work Environment Location: Fully on-site in downtown Toronto. Contract Duration: 6 month to start - high possibility of conversion to permanent based on candidate performance. Schedule Hours: Shift to vary between 8am-8pm (7.5 hours/day) - Monday to Friday) Pay: $22 - $24/hr Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
