Customer Service Representative I
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative I to join our team on a contract basis in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will provide support to customers by guiding them through required procedures, ensuring the accuracy of documentation, and addressing inquiries related to vehicle impoundment. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to utilize your organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Guide customers through the necessary procedures and documentation required for vehicle release, auction, or disposal, while explaining the implications of impoundment policies and fees. • Review official forms, such as police reports and towing receipts, to ensure data accuracy and consistency, and verify the authenticity of customer documents like vehicle registration and insurance. • Assess required documentation and processes based on specific vehicle impoundment circumstances, including abandonment, police action, and local ordinances. • Retrieve and analyze data from the database to identify liens or outstanding violations associated with impounded vehicles. • Coordinate and schedule administrative hearings to address disputes related to vehicle impoundment. • Maintain accurate records through indexing, filing, and managing electronic data systems. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. • Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. • Experience with indexing and electronic record management systems. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle filing and document review efficiently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver superior customer service. • Ability to analyze and interpret data from official documents and databases. • Familiarity with vehicle registration, insurance, and impoundment processes is a plus. • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and managing documentation. • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
