Job Description
The Customer Service Representative provides outstanding customer service both by phone and in person, while supporting the efforts of the outside sales team. You will assist contractors and retail customers with product selection and order processing, ensuring an error rate of less than 1% when entering customer orders into the system.
ResponsibilitiesProvide outstanding customer service both by phone and in person.Assist contractors and retail customers with product selection and order processing.Accurately enter customer orders into the system with a target error rate of less than 1%.Review orders for accuracy in pricing, quantities, freight terms, and delivery details before finalizing.Process payments (cash, check, credit card) and balance daily transactions.Confirm and post invoices with strict attention to detail.Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates.Load samples or small orders into customer vehicles as needed (up to 30 lbs.).Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in CRM.Support inventory counts and seasonal sales initiatives.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales.Proficiency in order entry and order processing.Strong communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Navigation.Advanced skills in Excel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a team of 3 Customer Service Representatives, alongside a Sales Manager and Office Manager on-site. The role requires presence on-site 5 days a week during the first shift from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm ET.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
