Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description
As a Client Services Specialist, you will establish and maintain relationships with retail customers, consumers, and the outside sales team. You will be responsible for processing sales orders and addressing any errors in payment terms or price discrepancies, as well as handling return requests for designated accounts. Your role will require efficient management of incoming telephone calls, ensuring one-call resolution. You will develop knowledge of product form and function, understand customer sales programs and promotions, and process requests for sales and show samples.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with retail customers, consumers, and outside sales team.Process sales orders and communicate any errors in payment terms and/or price discrepancies.Handle return requests for designated accounts.Answer incoming telephone calls and manage calls with one-call resolution.Develop knowledge of product form and function.Understand customer sales programs and promotions.Process requests for sales and show samples.Collaborate with Supply Chain on orders for large and out-of-stock quantities and recovery timing.Coordinate with Credit Department on orders on credit hold and pricing disputes.Track roll-out orders to ensure timely delivery.Work with warehouse staff to meet specific shipping requirements.Prepare documents to refute customer fines and file rebuttals using customer portals.Update customer websites with tracking information, weight of orders, and confirmation numbers.Troubleshoot product-related issues and perform necessary research.Prepare warranty, parts, and replacement product orders.Respond to information requests via email.Participate in technical training classes to enhance understanding of product installation, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.Perform other duties as assigned.Manage customer accounts.Essential Skills
1 to 2 years of customer service experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Intermediate Excel skills.Strong data entry skills.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Action-oriented and detail-oriented.Conflict management and resolution abilities.Customer-focused and excellent listener.Problem-solving skills.Functional and technical abilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree preferred.Experience with EDI.Knowledge of Infor LN, SAP, or Cloud-based ERP systems preferred.Account management experience preferred.Experience with WMS preferred.Work Environment
This is a hybrid work environment, with the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. You will be required to work in the office from Tuesday to Thursday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
