Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position offering a great opportunity to grow within the healthcare and social assistance industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a detail-oriented demeanor. Responsibilities: • Handle inbound and outbound calls to address customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions. • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a detail-oriented and empathetic approach in all interactions. • Perform accurate data entry and ensure the proper handling of customer information. • Manage email correspondence and respond to inquiries promptly and effectively. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to document and organize customer information and reports. • Process order entries and ensure billing is completed accurately. • Collaborate with internal staff and vendors to identify and address specific needs. • Stay informed on basic medical knowledge to better assist customers within the healthcare industry. • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while handling sensitive information. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment. • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls. • Strong skills in data entry and managing email correspondence. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting. • Ability to process order entries and handle billing tasks with accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Basic understanding of medical terminology or healthcare processes. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring customer satisfaction.
