The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers, partners, and employees. This position is responsible for sales order entry and updates, processing returns and credits, issuing quotes, and supporting customers via phone and email. In addition, this role will assist with front desk operations and provide administrative support. The Customer Service & Administrative Representative works as a liaison across departments - including Sales, Marketing, Planning, Operations, and HR - to resolve issues and support organizational success. **Responsibilities:** + Enter and maintain sales orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system + Process Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), credits, and returns + Provide accurate quotes for standard and project-based inquiries + Respond to customer calls and emails promptly, escalating issues when necessary + Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction + Maintain and distribute key reports; update management as required **Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience will be considered. + Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, order management, or administrative support with evidence of increasing responsibility. + Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. + ERP system knowledge required; JDE experience a plus. + Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook shared inboxes, calendars, and task management **Physical Activities:** + Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally, movement within an office complex and outside in the field Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world? **IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer** .
