Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Rosemont, Illinois. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to support customers with exceptional service while ensuring smooth order processing and fulfillment. Responsibilities: • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer inquiries and requests. • Accurately input and process customer orders, ensuring all details are verified including product specifications and pricing. • Track and monitor the progress of orders, providing regular updates to customers throughout the fulfillment process. • Address and resolve customer concerns related to order discrepancies or processing issues. • Work closely with internal teams to resolve order-related challenges and ensure timely delivery. • Investigate discrepancies in orders and provide solutions to prevent recurrence. • Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers, offering timely updates on issue resolutions. • Document recurring customer concerns and recommend process improvements to enhance service quality. • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the order lifecycle, fostering trust and satisfaction. • Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and Word to manage data entry and correspondence effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or order management environment. • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism. • Strong skills in data entry and email correspondence. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for tracking and managing customer data. • Ability to schedule appointments and manage order entry efficiently. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and teams. • Detail-oriented approach to verifying order information and resolving discrepancies. • Capability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
