Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for managing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless communication flow between customers, sales staff, and operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process customer orders, including entry, updates, and follow-through in the ERP system.
+ Handle customer price changes and related correspondence.
+ Communicate and follow up with customers regarding order status, issues, and inquiries.
+ Maintain and update customer files with address changes, pricing, delivery instructions, and other relevant notes.
+ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams including sales and operations.
+ Act as the primary contact for customer order processing and shipment coordination.
+ Support sales staff with information and assistance to optimize customer satisfaction.
+ Ensure timely transmission of orders to the shipping department.
+ Process product returns in accordance with established procedures.
+ Provide order acknowledgements and documentation as needed.
+ Serve as SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and COA (Certificates of Analysis) administrator.
+ Maintain accurate customer master data across systems and profiles.
+ Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or a related field preferred.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and data entry.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
+ Team player with a collaborative mindset.
