Position Purpose:

Provides customer service to external customers by processing various types of orders, answering questions, and general problem solving. Provides customer service to internal customers by processing transportation calls, lending support to sales staff, and providing information and support to various other employees upon request.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Enters, deletes, or changes orders called in by customers, transportation, sales, or employees.Enters, deletes, or changes credit pickup requests called in by customers, transportation, or sales.Initiates credits requests (no pickup) called in by customers, transportation, or sales.Researches and provides solutions to various problems and complaints as called in by customers, sales, and transportation.Provides a wide range of support functions to sales, customers, transportation, and other FB staff.Enters orders requested by buyer into bookings or next assigned screens as needed.Provides product information to customers, sales, and transportation.Research discrepancies and may need to forward to the appropriate department for further research and resolution. This may include billing errors, software issues, product information, etc.Communicates important information to other customer service staff via group voice mail, e-mail, or instant messaging.Forwards new account leads to sales management.
