Description We are looking for a dedicated Account Representative in Kent, WA for a company in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting existing customer accounts and providing administrative assistance to the sales team. This is a long-term contract-to-hire position offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, managing orders from placement to fulfillment. • Handle urgent and same-day orders, ensuring timely communication with logistics to meet tight deadlines. • Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to coordinate product availability and resolve order discrepancies. • Process sales orders, create vendor purchase orders, and prepare quote sheets as needed. • Provide accurate product pricing and inventory details to the sales team and customers. • Generate and distribute reports for customers, sales staff, and management as required. • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including warehouse staff and employees at other locations. • Monitor and manage physical inventories for assigned customers and warehouses. • Maintain a high level of professionalism in verbal and written communications with stakeholders. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, sales support, or account management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP software. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including vendors and internal staff. • Familiarity with order management processes, including order entry and physical inventory tracking. • Knowledge of inside sales practices is a plus.
