Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this contract position, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring seamless communication with clients. This role involves working with high-quality kitchen and restaurant equipment, providing an opportunity to engage with a dynamic and friendly team. Responsibilities: • Process and manage customer orders with precision, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. • Coordinate shipping logistics and maintain accurate inventory records. • Monitor the status of orders and provide timely updates to customers. • Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues. • Work collaboratively with warehouse associates and the operations manager to ensure smooth order fulfillment. • Utilize software tools to perform order entry and maintain data integrity. • Handle large kitchen equipment orders for commercial kitchens and restaurants. • Maintain an attentive and approachable demeanor when interacting with customers. Requirements • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and inventory management. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. • A personable and customer-focused attitude to build positive relationships with customers. • Basic proficiency with software tools; open to candidates with varying levels of technical experience. • Ability to work well in a team environment with a friendly and cooperative approach. • Previous experience in customer service or order entry is a plus. • Comfortable working in a casual dress code environment, adhering to guidelines for professionalism.
