Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries and orders are handled efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities: • Prepare and edit bids and sales orders with precision, ensuring all fields are accurate and relevant details are included. • Research pricing information and either provide standard pricing or escalate non-standard requests to the appropriate sales representative. • Generate order confirmations and follow up with customers for acknowledgment of any changes. • Create daily reports related to orders and ensure timely submission. • Collaborate effectively with departments such as manufacturing, sales, shipping, receiving, and accounting to guarantee customer satisfaction. • Address customer inquiries promptly, offering solutions and updates regarding their orders. • Stay informed about product updates and developments to better assist customers and improve service. • Maintain organized records of customer files and order details for easy access and reference. • Participate in required meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. • Uphold company standards and practices at all times while performing duties. Requirements • Proven experience in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service. • Familiarity with call center operations and handling both inbound and outbound calls. • Proficiency in data entry and managing email correspondence efficiently. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Experience in order entry and scheduling appointments. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
