Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis for the holiday season. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to customers, guiding them through product selections and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This position is based in Burlingame, California and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities: • Assist customers in selecting high-quality holiday products, such as artificial Christmas trees and decorations. • Deliver personalized service to create a memorable shopping experience. • Process transactions accurately using online platforms and mobile applications like Square. • Maintain inventory by restocking merchandise and performing daily retail tasks. • Assemble and disassemble holiday items, including Christmas trees and decorations. • Package and prepare items for storage or customer pick-up, ensuring safe handling. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment. • Uphold company standards by keeping the store organized and visually appealing. • Provide support during evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods as needed. • Adhere to safety protocols when lifting and moving items, including those over forty pounds. Requirements • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. • Detail-oriented and capable of solving problems independently. • Proficiency with iPads and mobile applications for transaction processing. • Ability to learn quickly about products and store operations through training. • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities. • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods. • Physical ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to forty pounds, with occasional assistance for heavier items.
