Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our Administrative Support division in Rancho Cordova, California. This is a contract position offering an opportunity to provide exceptional service at the One Stop Customer Service counter while performing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in essential software tools, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer interactions. Responsibilities: • Serve as primary coverage for the One Stop Customer Service counter, including lunch shifts and additional coverage as needed. • Handle daily mail processing tasks, including using a postage machine for outgoing mail and distributing mail at the end of each day. • Perform light administrative duties such as data entry and email correspondence. • Assist with end-of-day office tasks, such as refilling copier paper, cleaning and organizing conference rooms, and tidying shared spaces. • Distribute fresh fruit deliveries to offices and ensure communal refrigerators are cleaned out weekly. • Maintain general office organization and contribute to overall workplace cleanliness. • Schedule appointments and manage calendars as necessary to support office operations. • Provide outstanding customer service by answering inbound calls and addressing inquiries efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel. • Strong customer service skills, with experience in answering inbound calls and handling inquiries. • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. • Capability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly. • Experience in scheduling appointments and maintaining organized calendars. • Familiarity with general office maintenance and organization practices. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. • Ability to multitask and adapt to various administrative responsibilities.
