Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Description

As a Field Support Center Representative, you will serve as the hub for field technicians who are installing and supporting high-speed internet services in customer homes. Each day, you will compile the daily workload for technicians and assign work orders for various job types, such as service installations, changes, trouble calls, and disconnections. By supporting our technicians, you will help ensure timely installations, resolutions, and overall customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesDispatch service technicians, installers, and other technical personnel using Work Force Management tools, phones, and other technologies.Review customer account information and input appropriate data regarding reschedule dates, service changes, and trouble call information using CRT/computer.Monitor field technicians’ locations and routes throughout the day.Close technician and installer jobs and add equipment or services to customer accounts as necessary.Maintain database and system accuracy by ensuring that customer account records reflect the work completed in the field each day.Reschedule missed appointments at a time convenient for the customer.Compile, maintain, and prepare various required operational reports, logs, and files.Essential SkillsProficient in customer service and data entry.Experience with Microsoft Office applications.Capability to handle inbound calls effectively.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 to 2 years of prior work experience in a customer-facing role.High School Diploma or GED required.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is business casual inside the corporate office in Chester, NY.The Field Support Team operates in an office setting rather than a traditional call center.Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturdays, with Saturdays being mandatory. Shifts may vary between five-day, eight-hour schedules and four-day, ten-hour schedules based on business needs.After six months, employees will work remotely for three weeks each month and in-office for one week, with all Saturdays being remote.Mandatory training occurs for the first four weeks, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.Benefits become eligible after 60 days, including cable internet and TV reimbursement.The facility offers a gym and cafe on-site, providing a supportive and growth-oriented work culture.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
