Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. This Contract position involves supporting order processing, managing shipping logistics, and ensuring inventory accuracy for large kitchen equipment designed for organized kitchens and restaurants. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, thriving in a friendly and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: • Process customer orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. • Coordinate shipping arrangements and maintain up-to-date inventory records. • Monitor and track order progress to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. • Collaborate with warehouse associates and operations managers to streamline order fulfillment. • Utilize software tools to manage order entry and maintain data integrity. • Maintain an organized and approachable demeanor when interacting with customers. • Support team members in achieving operational goals and deadlines. • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding dress code and workplace conduct. Requirements • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships. • Familiarity with order processing and inventory management systems is preferred. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a friendly workplace. • Open to learning and adapting to different software tools as required. • Comfortable working in a casual dress code environment while maintaining professionalism. • Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.
