Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Binghamton, New York. This is a long-term contract position in the Real Estate & Property industry, offering an opportunity to work closely with clients, contractors, and homeowners. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate information, assisting with orders and quotations, and resolving issues efficiently and with great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries with speed, accuracy, and care to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist customers with product information, quotations, and order processing while maintaining attention to detail.
• Address and resolve customer complaints using effective problem-solving and de-escalation techniques.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits to drive satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Monitor and update shipment schedules to ensure timely deliveries and communicate any changes as needed.
• Recommend alternative products to customers based on cost, availability, or specifications.
• Process service requests, chat inquiries, and orders using designated company software.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and provide support when needed.
• Participate in training sessions and cross-training activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Uphold company policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.
• Familiarity with order processing systems and software, such as Freshdesk, is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of product terminology and features in the Real Estate & Property industry is preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful workplace culture.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
