Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our client located in New Orleans, Louisiana, for a short-term contract to full time position. This role is focused on delivering exceptional support in a call center environment, assisting clients with housing programs such as Tax Credit and Voucher systems. Responsibilities: • Respond to inbound and outbound calls, addressing client inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. • Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving issues and providing clear guidance on housing programs. • Manage data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of client interactions and housing details. • Handle email correspondence promptly, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed. • Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating with clients and internal teams. • Leverage knowledge of Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) and Fair Housing regulations to assist clients. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports, track data, and document client information. • Process order entries accurately and ensure timely follow-up with clients. • Educate clients on housing voucher programs and tax credit systems to improve understanding and compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in a call center or customer service environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients. • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of housing programs such as Tax Credit and Voucher systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting. • Skilled in managing email correspondence and scheduling appointments. • Familiarity with Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) and Fair Housing regulations is preferred. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data entry skills. • Capable of resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a positive client experience.
