Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing support via phone, email, and in person. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving customer inquiries with attention to detail and care. Responsibilities: • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals. • Provide in-person assistance to customers by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues. • Update and maintain customer account records with accuracy and attention to detail. • Conduct research to gather information needed to resolve customer account concerns. • Respond to email correspondence in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed. • Support outbound communication efforts, including follow-up calls to customers. • Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create and update documents as required. • Ensure all customer interactions are documented and adhere to company standards. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or collections environment. • Strong skills in handling inbound and outbound calls with a customer-focused approach. • Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting tasks. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence. • Ability to manage schedules and appointments effectively. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
