Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a meticulous Customer Service Representative to join our team in Coppell, Texas. This is a Contract to Permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work directly with clients, handle critical tasks, and contribute to operational success. The ideal candidate will excel at providing exceptional customer support while maintaining accuracy and a high level of care in all communications. Responsibilities: • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, pricing, product availability, and return requests in a precise and timely manner. • Accurately process customer orders and ensure all details are documented properly. • Coordinate with internal teams, including the warehouse, to address special orders, rush requests, or discrepancies in shipments. • Resolve allocation and backorder issues by working directly with clients to ensure satisfaction. • Meet individual and team performance metrics, such as schedule adherence, call quality, and average handle time. • Escalate complex or critical issues to management while maintaining a composed demeanor. • Handle email correspondence and data entry tasks to support smooth operational workflows. • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing inbound and outbound calls as needed. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department's objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment. • Proficiency in answering inbound and outbound calls with a focus on customer satisfaction. • Strong skills in data entry, email correspondence, and order processing. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting purposes. • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Capability to work collaboratively with internal teams and escalate issues appropriately. • Commitment to achieving performance metrics, such as attendance and call quality.
