Customer Service Rep

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative position will work on data entry projects in Microsoft Excel and our equipment database. They will open service requests, provide customers with work order numbers, and dispatch work orders to the appropriate hospital / technician. The Customer Service Rep will have a good understanding of medical equipment descriptions and uses. They will work with service personnel resolving data integrity issues. The position will also work partial with the Clinical Equipment Management Team acquiring and uploading appropriate documentation for system processing for the Clinical Equipment Management Program. He/she will coordinate with Barnabas Health stakeholders, vendors and employees on resolving all requests by providing excellent customer service and resolving all questions and concerns.

Essential Functions:

Extensive data entry with close attention to detail.Interacts with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Assign and e-mail work orders to technicians as required in a timely manner. Competent in navigating the medical equipment database and generating service requests and intranet.Dispatch service personnel for routine service calls as well as emergency calls efficiently and follow up as needed. Edit work orders, close PM s, and enter new equipment in database as requested by service personnel efficiently and timely. Familiar with purchasing, generate purchase orders to be sent to vendors and technicians.Puts forth excellent customer service demeanor, builds relationships with customers to enhance confidence in the department. Resolve or help resolve any difficulties the customer may have.Accurate data entry in preparation for invoice upload Ensure all documentation including invoices, work orders packing slips, shipping and return documentation and authorizations are received, accurate and uploaded daily as needed Monitor dashboard and track requests to resolutionProvide high level of customer service to all end users and internal/external customers Research and resolve inquiries from stakeholders or vendorsAll other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school education or equivalent Experience working within the healthcare field a plus

Hours: 8-4PM

Shift changes may be required on an as needed basis for phone coverage
