Dispatch & Customer Support

This position supports a fast‑paced service operation by acting as a primary point of contact for customers and coordinating service technicians. This role is heavily customer‑service focused, with responsibilities centered on scheduling, communication, and service support, along with light billing and invoicing assistance. (This position can start right away or after a notice if candidate needs to give one.)

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and in person, providing friendly, professional serviceSchedule and coordinate service technicians based on customer needs and technician availabilityCreate and manage service tickets, accurately documenting customer issues and requestsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding services, timelines, technicians, and costsAssist customers with basic troubleshooting and help determine next steps for serviceMaintain accurate customer records and update service information in internal systemsContact customers when additional work is needed and explain changes before proceedingSupport billing and invoicing processes with attention to detailWork closely with technicians and internal team members to ensure smooth service deliveryAssist with general administrative tasks and provide backup support as needed

Qualifications

Previous administrative or customer service experience in a fast‑paced environmentStrong communication skills and comfort handling high volumes of customer interactionsAbility to manage schedules, prioritize requests, and multitask effectivelyBasic experience with invoicing, billing, or data entry preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)Experience in a service‑based or dispatch environment is a plus

Work Environment

This role supports a busy service and dispatch team, handling a high volume of customer interactions and technician scheduling. The environment values responsiveness, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorhead, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
