Customer Service Agent
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer‑focused Customer Service Agent to support our customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment, and be comfortable handling order processing, customer inquiries, and cross‑functional communication in a fast‑paced setting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and professional support throughout the order lifecycle. Key Responsibilities + Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems + Process customer orders, changes, returns, and credits accurately and efficiently + Coordinate with production, scheduling, shipping, sales, and quality teams to resolve customer issues + Communicate order status, lead times, delays, and delivery updates to customers + Address and resolve customer concerns while maintaining a high level of professionalism + Maintain accurate customer records, order details, and documentation in ERP/CRM systems + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer experience and internal processes Required Qualifications + 3+ years of experience in a customer service role + Strong communication and problem‑solving skills + Experience working with ERP or CRM systems + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications + Customer service experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment + Experience supporting B2B customers + Familiarity with order‑to‑cash or supply chain processes Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
