Position: Customer Service Agent

compensation: $25.00 per hour

Available Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Responds to customer inquiries and maintain customer accounts according to specific guidelines and proceduresResearch information to solve customer service problemsDocument and record monthly activities for period end reportingProvide work coverage for other employees’ absences when necessaryAnswer incoming customer calls and provide detail informationNotify customers daily of freight availability Data entry (domestic and international bills)Perform daily audits on all outbound shipmentsConsistently monitor e-mail request and provide detail information in a timely fashionRegular and dependable attendanceOther duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

General understanding of excel functions and how to manage email rules within Microsoft OutlookKnowledge of customer service practices and administrative proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskProficient in the use of standard office software applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExemplary customer service skills are requiredAbility to work cooperatively with others at all levels of the organizationAbility to work with minimal supervisionKnowledge of warehouse management system SAP is a plus
