Results-driven sales operations role managing customer accounts end-to-end—from quote and order entry through shipment—in a manufacturing/industrial environment using NetSuite ERP.
RequirementsSales, order entry, and customer-facing account management experience.
ERP proficiency; NetSuite required.
Manufacturing or industrial background.
Minimum 4 years in a sales-related environment (customer service, inside/outside/technical sales, or purchasing).
High volume, fast-paced operations experience.
Industrial experience required; distribution experience preferred.
Preferred SkillsQuoting and pricing execution, including competitive pricing analysis.
Product selection aptitude and cross-sell/upsell execution.
Report generation and analysis for sales activities and KPIs.
Territory prospecting and lead follow-up.
Familiarity with on-time delivery (OTD), quality, and SLA metrics.
ResponsibilitiesManage assigned customer accounts from order entry through shipment in NetSuite; maintain accurate data and documentation.
Communicate delivery expectations, handle expedite requests, and provide tracking/follow-up updates internally and externally.
Partner with outside sales to manage a dedicated customer base; support proactive quote and order management.
Prepare quotes for products/services; recommend complementary solutions aligned with inventory, pricing, and sales initiatives.
Identify customer needs and propose solutions leveraging company products/services to meet revenue and margin goals.
Monitor market and industry trends impacting customer demand and account strategy.
Maintain and grow a prospect list within the assigned territory; execute outbound follow-ups on new leads.
Generate, review, and analyze account/sales reports; drive actions to achieve OTD, quality, and SLA targets.
Promote customer incentives aligned with sales strategy; execute structured upsell and cross-sell motions.
Maintain technical product competence through continuous training.
Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
4+ years sales-related experience as noted above.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour
