The Customer Request Technician is an entry-level position that requires a person who is highly productive and will provide high quality service to customers, both internal and external.  This position demands good time management skills, the ability to work in a team environment, customer service skills, data entry, and a variety of jobs, tasks and other duties as assigned. Must have a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs and learn and follow written rules and procedures.
 
ResponsibilitiesManage inventory of assigned productsFill, package, and ship sample requestsCommunicate with requestors status updates on requests and projectsMaintain the cleanliness of work areaWork with Research and the business units to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain documents for productsGeneral housekeeping dutiesRecord product codes/lot numbersStrong safety aptitude and work ethicAbility to sit and stand for long periods of timeEnsure compliance to procedures, guidelines, and ADM policiesDependable and desire to learn with a positive attitudeLearn food safety protocols and complete HACCP training  Skills and QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Attention to detail orientedMust be familiar with English and Metric measurement unitsAbility to operate simple machines (pallet jack, pallet lifter)Ability to work in a warehouse environmentAbility to work with databasesAbility to do repetitive tasks in an efficient and timely mannerMultitaskingAbility to adapt to a changing working environmentExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
