Customer Order Administrator

The Customer Order Administrator plays a vital role in delivering a seamless order management experience for a portfolio of accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all order-related matters on behalf of Emerson. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of orders, proactively resolves customer disputes, and maintains consistent communication to keep customers informed. By coordinating across internal teams, the Customer Order Administrator safeguards high service levels and ensures that orders are delivered complete, on time, and in full compliance with customer requirements. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Process customer orders accurately and on time in the ERP system (JDE).  Own and resolve customer disputes, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.  Generate and send order acknowledgements to customers.  Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.  Expedite factory production when needed to meet delivery deadlines.  Keep customers informed via email and phone about any changes, delays, or issues with their orders.  Transfer documentation requirements to the Documentation Controlling team and follow up to ensure timely delivery.  Maintain accurate and up-to-date order logs and records in ERP.  Arrange product inspections as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:

University degree.  At least 2 years of experience in order entry, order management, or a similar role.  Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.  Strong PC skills, including MS Office, Internet, and advanced JDE usage.  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience managing a portfolio of customer accounts.  Proven ability to handle disputes and resolve customer issues effectively.  Familiarity with documentation processes in an order management environment.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a global organization.
