Customer Operation & Support Specialist,  Order Management and Billing– Custom Products and Services

A Day in the Life:

Review and accurately process incoming purchase orders applying Quotations, customer contracts, applying business rules and policiesPerform research and update customer records in ERP systemsResolve purchase order deficiencies with customers and internal business functionsManage open orders throughout the billing and shipment process including processing order changesTake an active role in identifying and resolving any issues from order to cash including proactively addressing any potential order/quote issues and billing discrepanciesIdentify process improvement opportunities to improve customer experience and business resultsGenerate and send invoices to customers and commercial representativesProactively advise management of any risk to contractual performanceProvide timely and detailed communication to all customers’ requestsCommunicate regularly with management on any critical issues or opportunitiesAssist Customer Operations and Support Manager or team as needed

Keys to Success:

Education and experience

High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of 3+ years of customer service experience.Prior experience performing order entry, order management and billing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system highly preferred.​

Strong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize daily work and stay organized while managing multi-tasksHandle high volume of transactionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.Strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated success working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and challenging deadlinesGreat teammate, yet can work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
