This Position reports to:

Your Role: Own the Challenge 


In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the end-to-end operation of customer master data lifecycle including creation, update, and archival/deletion of the master data, by following the standards and quality requirements of the domain. Each day, you will provide support on customer master data management processes. You will also showcase your expertise by understanding the impact of the customer master data maintained and accordingly providing guidance to others on the related matters.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, with 2 days per week at Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

This role is contributing to the customer master data in Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB, in Canada.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Ensuring that the cusotmer master data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems, within your scope of responsibility.Documenting, reviewing, and updating the work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance.Participating in the elimination of non-conformance and adopting the ‘first-time right’ approach to assist in the overall resolution of quality issues.Acting as a customer master data super user, when needed and providing support and training to other Customer Master Data Specialists and master data professionals in your area of responsibility.

What it takes to run what runs the world 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.2-5 years experience in data management, IT, or related business functions.Proven proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).Strong ability to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.Excellent problem-solving skills to address data inconsistencies and issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL.Understanding of business processes related to sales, marketing, and customer service.Adaptability to learn new systems and manage multiple tasks effectively.Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
