You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

You will:
Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisionsLeads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocksSuggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of saleFollows up the competition’s commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brandPlays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targetsWhat you will bring

What you need to know about this position:
Mondelēz World Travel Retail (WTR) is the dynamic global business unit responsible for driving sales in the specialist travel retail channel. Operating in premium retail environments, Mondelēz WTR takes an innovative approach to brands such as Toblerone, Milka, Cadbury and Oreo for best representation in airports, border stores, ferries and in-flight.
As Customer Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the executional aspects of WTR’s POS Solutions (permanent and promotional) in the Duty Free stores of the region assigned, in order to strengthen and enhance Mondelez’s brand presence at the point of sale, with strong focus on efficient and effective trade investments. These activities support the mid- and long-term objectives of the overall WTR business.
The Customer Marketing Executive is the focal point between business development managers, brand managers, retailers and key agency partners. You will continuously monitor the market and become a key business partner to the business development team. You will ensure that crucial shopper insight is activated, and investment is optimal in the region in order to deliver accelerated growth in the region. It is the responsibility of this role to deliver both brand and corporate communication with excellence.
Main responsibilities include:
Analytical skills: ability to translate data to tangible insights to clear action plans.Budget management: ability to manage budget and make decision to distribute given budget in line with the business priorities.Execution excellence:Designing activation spaces as well as permanent space in line with strategy.Coordinating the entire execution from start to finish, and continuously evaluating performance.Implementing key merchandising principles across all main fixturesDeveloping planograms (previous knowledge of NIQ Spaceman is an advantage)Managing Brand Ambassadors globally (including training, setting the right priorities and follow up)Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally. Experience in building strong, long lasting relationships base don trust and collaboration is an advantage.Required:
+5 years experience in sales or trade marketingStrong commercial backgroundExperience managing customer relationshipsBusiness experience within international environment, preferably in Project Management or Trade MarketingCommercial Education, university degree or equivalent preferredExcellent organizing and prioritizing skillsAnalytical skillsOpen mind and drive for resultsPreferably industry knowledge in WTRExcel and PPT literacyEnglish fluentRelocation Support Available?
