A phenomenal opportunity exists to join our Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) & Mature Commercial Engines (MCE) Warranty team in the role of Customer Manager at our East Hartford, CT Campus, currently working in a hybrid work environment.
The GTF & MCE Warranty business, which is part of the GTF Engines organization, continues to grow in scope and visibility in line with Pratt & Whitney's GTF engine production, delivery ramp, and increasing aftermarket demands. GTF & MCE Warranty also continues to support all MCE models. This is a unique opportunity at Pratt & Whitney to gain experience on all commercial products across all phases of the engine life cycle with a unique perspective into the combined P&L: New engine Service Policy, guarantees related to reliability, performance, durability, and cost, and non-contractual support.
What You Will Do:
You will manage the complete Warranty relationship for a group of customers across multiple product lines under the GTF and MCE programs
You will perform warranty claims and guarantees analysis & validation, managing all stages of the claims, including direct airline customer interaction to find win-win solutions within contractual bounds
As a member of the Customer Focus Team, you will contribute to the success customer support programs requiring Warranty coverage, ensuring cross-functional alignment across the organization and sufficient budget to fund the activity
For Warranty requests from customers, the Customer Business Organization (CBO), or Programs, you will lead the coordination for Warranty Council approvals, including alignment across Program, CBO, Aftermarket, Finance, and Legal in order to achieve the necessary approvals, program implementation, and tracking
You will assist the Finance Manager with monthly reporting and data analysis related to our quarterly reserve adequacy review
You will support the long-term guarantees portion of the warranty business by ensuring timely and accurate data entry for guarantee commitments in the CAGE tool, with opportunity to help manage Digital Technology enhancements for CAGE
You will lead the L0 V2500 Warranty Council meetings and support L1 preparation
Warranty Management Center liaison and budget manager
Qualification You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree 8 years of experience to include working with contracts or warranty claims, knowledge of digital technology tools such as SAP and warranty management related software and direct customer interaction; Or Advanced degree in related field with 5 years of relevant experience as listed above

Comfortable executing under the pressures of a highly active and changing environment
Experience with data analytics or engine performance
Basic engine operation, overhaul and/or fleet management skills
Can work efficiently within Microsoft Office 365 products: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
