**Position Summary:**
Penske moves the world forward, and we are building a modern customer insights capability to better understand our customers and inform decisions across the business. The Customer Insights Summer Intern (Graduate Level) will contribute to research, analysis, and insight development that directly support customer experience and business priorities.
This role is designed for a graduate-level student and combines ownership of a defined summer project with opportunities to support ongoing research initiatives. The intern will work closely with experienced insights professionals to apply research methodologies and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.

These opportunities will be full-time (40 hrs. per week), generally Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for approximately 12 weeks (May – August). Eligible candidates must be full-time graduate level students.
In addition to responsibility for various assignments and projects related to Marketing, all Interns will participate in Penske's Cooperative Internship Program. This is an extremely hands-on, robust program where all Interns will participate in events throughout the summer program that revolve around the three main pillars of the program: Community Service, Social Networking, and Professional Development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in support of customer experience and business decisions.
• Design, analyze, and interpret surveys and other research inputs.
• Synthesize customer, operational, and market data into clear insights and opportunity areas.
• Own a defined summer project from problem definition through final recommendations.
• Support additional research initiatives to gain exposure across methodologies and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evaluation of research tools, methodologies, and ways of working.
• Develop executive-ready summaries, reports, and presentations that communicate insights clearly.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
**Required**
• Bachelor’s degree completed in a relevant field
• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Market Research, Marketing, Business Strategy, or a related discipline
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
• Experience applying research or analytical methods through coursework, academic projects, or internships
• Strong analytical thinking, synthesis, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong organization and time management
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
**Preferred**
• Familiarity with survey platforms and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, or similar)
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling.
These temporary seasonal positions are located at our Corporate offices in the suburban setting of Green Hills, PA which is 7 miles South of Reading, PA.
