Taste, a key division within IFF, focuses on creating unique and sustainable food and beverage experiences.We’re now excited to welcome a new Customer Experience Marketing Manager (DACH) to our Taste Marketing team! As part of the Customer Experience Marketing (CXM) team, you will be the driving force behind how IFF engages with customers across the DACH region. You’ll activate the IFF brand and solutions to deliver differentiated, value-rich experiences throughout the customer journey. By crafting compelling content, insights, and strategic narratives, you’ll help shape customer engagement and fuel business growth.
The location for this role is our Taste site in Oberhausen, Germany; following a hybrid model (2 days a week on-site).
Where You’ll Make a Difference:
1. Trend & Insight Leadership
Analyze food and beverage category trends using tools like Mintel, Euromonitor, AI Palette, Nielsen, and AI agents. Translate insights into impactful customer-facing content that supports business growth and retention.
2. Concept Development
Collaborate with customers on new product development by leveraging consumer insights and market trends to propose relevant food and beverage concepts.
3. Strategic Alignment
Connect market dynamics and consumer behavior with IFF’s commercial strategy to uncover new business opportunities.
4. Customer Engagement & Presentation Excellence
Lead the creation and delivery of customer presentations, including trend analysis, insights, and product concepts. Own the full customer engagement experience: Presentation content and materials (labels, banners, videos), Event logistics & Creating a memorable and elevated customer experience
5. Market Mapping & Gap Analysis
Monitor new product launches and emerging trends to identify whitespace opportunities.
6. Marketing Collateral Creation
Design professional marketing assets (flyers, one-pagers, etc.) that showcase IFF’s technologies and initiatives while adhering to brand guidelines.
7. Research & Insights
Conduct desk research to gather intelligence on the food industry and key players.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with category leaders, commercial, innovation, creation, and design teams to co-develop and implement customer value propositions.
9. Commercial Partnership
Act as a strategic ally to the DACH sales leader and COD group by i.e. Identifying growth opportunities, leading local initiatives aligned with regional strategy, driving customer engagement, sharing success stories across markets & mapping whitespace across categories, markets, and channels
What makes you the right fit:
5–7 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B within the food and beverage manufacturing sector
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred)
Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel and PowerPoint essential). Basic graphic design capabilities
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, strategic mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills & strong influencing and networking capabilities
