The candidate will work closely with customers to analyze, debug and resolve issues. Will conduct in-depth analysis of failures and experiment to improve the quality of QC's products. The candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, HW Design, System Design, etc.) to commercialize QCT products. This engineering position provides an opportunity to work closely with leading wireless operators, infrastructure vendors and R&D Teams on cutting-edge wireless technologies such as 5G Sub6, 5G mmW, Licensed band Radio (LBR)-mmW and Un-licensed Band Radio (UBR) etc. Responsibilities include 5G/LBR-mmW systems performance characterization and optimization, debugging support, demos and over the air (OTA) field trials of new features. The candidate should be able to provide onsite support to mobile operators to help roll out and enhance their 5G/LBR-mmW networks. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. + 5+ years’ experience with customer support and debugging techniques. + Strong protocol knowledge in 5G-Sub6, 5G-mMW, LBR-mmW, UBR, Wifi6, Wifi7 with excellent log analysis skills and software code design/debugging skill for root causing complex issue is mandatory. + Strong knowledge of data protocols, TCP/IP Networking protocols, Ipv4, IPV6 etc. are desired + Programming skills in C/C++/Perl/Python/MATLAB and proven programming project experience using these is a strong plus **Applicants** : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
