Customer Engagement Marketing Director
Description Job Description Huntington Bank is seeking a seasoned, visionary leader to head our Customer Engagement Marketing function. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing enterprise-wide strategies that deepen customer relationships, drive product adoption, and deliver meaningful, compliant communications across all channels. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, customer-obsessed strategist with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Lifecycle & Engagement + Lead onboarding journeys for consumer and business banking customers, driving primacy, direct deposit setup, and account funding. + Develop and optimize retention strategies and benefit reinforcement programs to increase customer lifetime value. Customer Communications + Oversee all regulatory and legally required customer communications, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistency. + Partner with Legal, Risk, and Operations to maintain high standards of governance and auditability. Merger & Acquisition Marketing + Serve as the enterprise marketing lead for M&A initiatives, ensuring seamless customer transitions and communications. Product & Feature Strategy + Drive customer strategy for product changes and new feature launches, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. Segment Marketing & Specialized Products + Support strategic segment engagement for specialized offerings such as Huntington Honors, Teen Banking, and Caregiver Banking. Digital Engagement & Adoption + Accelerate digital adoption through targeted engagement strategies and frictionless experiences. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. + 10+ years’ experience in marketing required. Preferred Qualifications: + Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, data-driven personalization, and omni-channel engagement. + Strong grasp of regulatory requirements and risk management in a financial institution. + Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills. + Passion for the customer and a relentless drive to improve their experience. #LI-NG1 #LI-Onsite Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Compensation Range: $125,000-$255,000 annually The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
