Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **About the role:** As the **Customer Development Manager** you will have directional responsibility to deliver sales objectives on volume, spending and retail execution while also running the P&L. You will be formulating and executing a strategic plan to ensure you reach maximum volume, profitability and customer service. You'll develop plans to deliver designated account strategies and champion a mindset with your colleagues to create solutions where Everyone wins and productivity of investments increases. You will demonstrate consumer insights associated with strong Colgate brand equities to drive incremental growth and strengthen the customer investment strategy so that it is consistent with Retail Environment strategy, brand strategy, and shopper insights. **Main Responsibilities:** + Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize volume, profitability, and customer service. + Lead both the Direct and Broker Sales teams to achieve sales objectives in volume, spending, and retail execution. + Oversee account strategy development and analyze business trends (brand share, pricing, promotion, trade class). + Ensure detailed post-evaluation of all promotions, providing insights to refine customer tactics and share results with the commercial team. + Foster teamwork across all functional areas working with key customers. + Recruit, train, and develop team members to maximize performance and career growth, encouraging use of technology. + Build and manage customer relationships at the regional and store levels. + Create customer investment strategies aligned with brand, retail, and shopper insights. + Contribute to translating brand plans into customer and CPG targets, leveraging consumer insights to drive growth. + Gather market intelligence and conduct post-analysis to improve future strategies. + Provide input on commercial guidelines and lead the translation of overarching targets into customer plans, managing P&L and ensuring joint business plans. + Promote a Return on Investment mindset across the team to maximize productivity. + Oversee 5P strategy implementation and systematic post-evaluation to assess effectiveness and investment returns. + Perform other assigned duties and ensure compliance with all company policies and standards. **Mandatory Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field + At least 5 years of experience in sales roles or commercial areas + Experience in negotiation and managing distributors + Advanced English (Verbal and Written) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) accounts + Previous experience in consumer goods industry + Strong analytical and decision-making skills + Leadership experience **Our Commitment to Inclusion** Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
