Customer Care Representative

A locally recognized nonprofit organization is seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join their team. As a critical member of the organization, you'll serve as the front-line connection for individuals seeking support, resources, and information. This is an opportunity to combine your interpersonal skills with meaningful work that directly impacts people's lives. Key Responsibilities: + Act as the primary contact for inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and courteous responses. + Assist clients, donors, and community partners with resolving questions and concerns while ensuring exceptional service. + Maintain accurate client records in the organization's CRM/database. + Collaborate with other teams to provide tailored resolutions and escalate cases when necessary. + Actively participate in identifying process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. + Educate and inform community members about available programs, services, and upcoming events. + Uphold the organization's mission and values by contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment. Requirements + A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a similar role (nonprofit experience is a plus). + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to connect and empathize with diverse audiences. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools; experience with donor management software, such as Salesforce or similar, is a bonus. + High level of accuracy and attention to detail in response tracking and recordkeeping. + Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure. + A collaborative mindset with a drive to contribute to organizational success.
