At Villa Feliciana Medical Complex, our mission is to operate health care programs which provide medical care and treatment for residents with acute, subacute and chronic illnesses and/or disabilities resulting from trauma or genetic defects. The facility operates a small hospital care service that is surveyed by health standards using hospital licensing requirements, with the remainder of the facility surveyed annually under CMS and state standards for nursing facility care. We’re looking for a Custodian Supervisor to join our Housekeeping Department. The Custodian Supervisor plays a key role in guiding their custodial team to get the job done!

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Prepare a schedule for a number of custodial workers, including work time and areas of cleaning duty. Prepare and distribute environmental cleaning sheets to all custodial workers every Monday, collect sheets from the week prior, and give them to the Custodial Manager for review. Complete daily attendance records.
+ Attend and conduct staff meetings with housekeeping employees as well as training classes, safety committee meetings, and any other required meetings. Prepare annual performance ratings on all subordinates, reporting all problems to the supervisor.
+ Clean, mop, dust, and sweep assigned areas on a daily basis. Wash bedside curtains, clean trash cans and bathrooms, including commodes and face bowls, and mop Dining Rooms. Strip, buff & wax floors. Vacuum as needed. Clean furniture, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, etc.
+ Conduct numerous daily inspections of patient buildings that are constantly in need of cleaning.
Complete quality control forms when inspecting buildings.
+ Distributes cleaning supplies on hand and maintains records relating to the amount on hand and usage. Checks equipment to ensure proper working order and cleanliness, notifying maintenance of any needed repairs.
Takes inventory of all equipment assigned to the patient building and ancillary areas monthly.
+ Perform other related duties in order to maintain the smooth operation of the facility
Position-Specific Details:
+ Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Permanent
+ Work Schedule: Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
+ Compensation: This position is eligible for longevity pay starting at $1.00 per hour
