Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: As a custodian, you will be responsible for the following: + Clean, mop, disinfect, and sweep the assigned area daily. + Decontaminates patient rooms, restrooms, and isolation rooms that contain biohazard wastes such as blood, urine, feces, and used needles. Dispose of infectious waste. + Strips, buffs, waxes, and disinfects floors regularly using required industrial machinery. + Mix the cleaning solution to the proper concentrations necessary for various tasks.
